The Conflict

We started Astra AI because the world was changing — but education wasn’t.
Andrej was fascinated by how the internet could transmit knowledge across the globe. Klemen, on the other hand, nearly slipped through the cracks of a rigid school system that didn’t accommodate different ways of learning. Both knew something had to change.
The journey began in 2013 under the name Astra.si. What started as a bold idea has now evolved into Astra AI, launched in 2024 — built for the next generation of learners.

The Resolution

Modern education was built for a world that no longer exists. It was designed for the industrial age — structured, standardized, and one-size-fits-all. But society evolved. Work changed. The way we create and contribute changed.
Education must evolve too.
