Why do students keep studying with Exam Prep?
Students who study with Exam Prep, in their own words.
"When studying for exams, I'd always get lost in millions of notes. But here I just upload PDFs, AI puts them together and explains the material. Why didn't this exist before? 😂"
Sam (22)
"Same story every time – someone writes 'hey can you send me photos of your notes' and then I spend hours dealing with that. Now I just send a link to Exam Prep, and they have everything and can already start preparing for the test."
Emma (21)
"The professor spoke so fast in class that I missed half the things. At home, I just uploaded notes from a classmate to Astra AI and created Exam Prep. Then I studied from that. It really made learning easier for me."
Ryan (20)
"I thought AI could never replace actual notes, but Exam Prep convinced me otherwise. The best part? When I needed a detailed explanation, the AI broke everything down nicely and connected the material. Like I was talking to my notes. I don't know how I even studied before."
Jake (22)
"I'll never forget when I was begging a classmate 2 days before a test to take pictures of the review… Now we have a shared Exam Prep and I can study stress-free even if I don't have my own materials."
Matt (21)
"College was always chaos with a million PDFs, notes, lecture recordings… Then I discovered Astra AI and Exam Prep. It organized all my materials and explained difficult concepts to me. My whole way of studying completely changed!"
Alex (21)
"I hate taking notes – I always miss something or run out of time. If someone shares their Exam Prep with me, I don't need to copy 100 pages."
Sophie (21)
"We used to have chaos in group chats. One person would photograph a notebook, one would send a random Word document, one would send voice messages with summaries, and it was never clear what was actually most useful. Now we all just upload our notes to a shared folder and the program creates the best study plan from everything."
Chris (21)
"Whenever I start studying, I realize I have half my notes on the computer, half in a notebook, and some more at school. Now I just upload as much as possible into Exam Prep, and it builds the best plan. This AI is a game-changer for students like us."
Tyler (20)
Why we created Exam Prep
Too many notes in too many places, and no clear way through them before an exam. Watch why we built Exam Prep and how it turns your materials into a plan.
How Exam Prep works
From scattered notes to a plan you can follow, in three steps.
1. Upload your materials
Photos of your notes, PDFs, reviewers, past quizzes, old exams or worksheets. Astra AI analyzes them and connects the topics.
2. Set your exam date
Choose the date and the grade you are aiming for. Astra AI builds a personalized learning path that ends right on time.
3. Follow the plan every day
Work through each day’s goals with exercises, quizzes, flashcards and podcasts, and watch your mastered topics grow.
Your next exam, planned
Upload your first notes and see your study plan take shape.
Even stronger together with classmates.
Share your Exam Prep and study together with your classmates. Upload your materials, create an Exam Prep and send it to the people you study with: everyone gets the same plan, at their own pace.
Your results stay private. Classmates see the study plan, never your personal progress. Studying together keeps everyone motivated.
What does research tell us about AI and student learning?
Research into AI tutoring shows promise, but the way it’s used matters. The important question is what students can understand, remember, and do independently afterwards.
01
The learning happens when they take part.
02
Getting it right isn’t the same as learning it.
03
How AI helps makes a difference.
About this research
These findings come from studies of different tutoring systems and learning activities. They are not results from a study of Astra AI.
Students learned more than twice as much.
In a Harvard study, students using a purpose-built AI tutor achieved more than double the learning gains of students in an active-learning classroom - in less time.
