They can keep asking. Astra AI can break a problem into smaller steps, explain it another way, or work through another example. Your child doesn’t need to pretend they understood the first time.

AI can make mistakes, so students shouldn’t treat every response as automatically correct. They can ask Astra AI to explain how it reached an answer and compare unfamiliar methods with their class materials. If something still looks wrong, checking with their teacher is the right next step.

That depends on the child. Astra AI can give them a study plan, activities to work through, and somewhere to turn when they get stuck, but some children will still need encouragement to get started or build a study routine.

No. Astra AI gives your child another place to ask questions, practise, and work through difficult topics between lessons. Teachers, parents, and tutors still provide something AI cannot replace: human judgement, encouragement, and personal connection.

Astra AI can give screen time a specific learning purpose: understanding a topic, working through a problem, practising for an exam, or exploring a concept. Students can also work on paper and return to Astra AI when they need help.

If your child already has their own account, you can create a parent account and connect it to theirs. This gives your child their own learning space while giving you access to your parent dashboard. Alternatively, you can create one shared account for your child to use directly.

You can follow your child’s study routine, see what they’re working on, and talk with their AI tutor from your own parent dashboard.

Astra AI is intended for children aged 12 and over. We recommend it for pupils from 5th or 6th grade onwards, when they can use the AI tutor independently to learn, get topics explained, and solve problems. Younger users can use Astra AI with the permission of their parents or legal guardians. We recommend that parents talk with their child about using artificial intelligence responsibly and keep an eye on how they use it for learning.

We process personal data in line with the GDPR and Slovenian data protection law, and we use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it. These include data encryption, firewalls, and strictly limited access to personal data. We don’t sell personal data, and only the people and service providers who need it to provide our services have access to it.
